One Price Dry Cleaners uses the safest dry cleaning processes and solvents available. You may have seen or heard many news stories about PERC. PERC (perchloroethylene) has come under increasing scrutiny as a potential health and environmental hazard. ONE PRICE DRY CLEANERS DOES NOT USE PERC. We are using Hydrocarbon, a non hazardous, non toxic solvent that is New York State certified. Hydrocarbon (DF2000) was the result of a decade long commitment by EXXON/Mobil to find a safe alternative solvent. Chevron/Phillips has recently made their own form of hydrocarbon available.
